Lost Beloved
My soul is in the love I’ve formed
The like of which not well informed
I am lost
But at what cost
For within me there is turmoil
My passion bursts my heart does boil
But I remember her
To whom I did aver
My love absolute for all eternity.
My life is an enigma
Upon which there is stigma
For now I love another
The like of which no other
Has existed since I first met her
Her with whom a love did start
The one who first did clench my heart
From whom I could not be apart
So young she was snatched away from me
From the pain in life she was set free
But I had promised gave my word
Although it sounds surreal absurd
My love absolute for all eternity
So God the one who took her from me
I beg you look upon me see
A man confused who needs a sign
I beg you Lord please be benign
Allow me love and peace this time
