Autumn, oh Autumn, the season of change
How my life, you transform and rearrange
With the nights that chill and bring decease
To the days that gleam and bring relief
How much must I take, how far should i go?
Before renewed this man would show
And shine from the outside in
This man now free from all past sin
How long must he wait, for redemption draws nigh
He's made to run, when all he wants is to fly
To fly above each trial and care
Above all pain and above all despair
Autumn, oh Autumn, you know him well
Your presence alone keeps him under your spell
And as his fire, he struggles to keep alight
Your waters reflect a future thats bright
