Significant Crimes

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Tuesday, 4th October 2011 @ 03:37:05 PM in AEST
Topic: Nostalgic

Announcements embellished with your name are constant

As I think of your more significant crimes

Do not confuse yourself for I shall include that I have partaken in your wrong

That is, my fallacies became yours; twas a never ending circle of fault

Why is it now that you are caught by the guards for menial wrongdoings

Everyday is a straight-face contest; better yet a make-no-eye-contact duel

For we have forgotten how to smile or even compassionately greet one another

Has my absence created a void which you must fill with immoral actions

Or is it that your absence has created non-stop concern and hypochondria in my vast mind

If only the answers to these questions were as clear as your recent charges and consequences

Today I observed a fraction of your everyday actions and shall do the same tomorrow

The difference in tomorrow is that I will have shared my point with many readers to analyze

And perhaps you will take a glance of my poetic response to our once-love

Then again does not love never end even when the experience is over?

Beautiful poetry, well constructed and brilliantly written.

'Significant Crimes' is a model of soul-searching nostalgic poetry. It mixes all the emotions of love in one statement. I think it's magnificemt, although I can't also help feeling pain for your suffering. All I can definitely say is that such passionate issues ebb with the years: but then you've lost your youth -- and that isn't great... but there's no alternative :)
