Knock on wood
Knock on wood.
Karma gets us in the end anyway
As it naturally should.
I’m trying to get away from it, so it wouldn’t affect me now.
I run and I try to hide but karma looms.
My inevitable fate awaits me somewhere.
I quiver at it’s ominous presence, breathing on my skin, I barely escape my doom.
I wish I didn’t have outride it, I wish I wasn’t so bad in life.
There is no use to fight it
I know my emotions will eventually be slain.
I don’t want this jubilance to end
But I know I will be subject to karma inflicted pain.
I seize, I accept my fate, I hope I didn’t hurt anyone too bad.
I will repent in my guilt as much as I could.
Karma has finally got me and even though its not needed.
I continue to knock on wood.
