Tragedy born of rape
Despicable unloved neglect implacably forlorn
Desperate
Crippled clubfoot
Clipped ear
Cracked smile
Shattered eyes
Glassy icy heart
No comrades
Dark britches heavy loads
Skirted around dressed down unhappy naked
Bright lights unghastly sight but not right
Too true like looking from inside a two-
Way mirror
Can’t stare too deliberate unfurnished, bucked enough
Finish up
Can’t remain, can’t stay so leave be sure to glamourise a cure then sprinkle it out to the millions
Drowning
Calm
End before bed and not left for dead
Every qualm becomes a mighty rose
A roar
A challenge
The kind you’re told to like
But don’t
It’s too near so far, can’t remember where I am
Shed a tear if you want to
I don’t
