You’re only

You’re only tasting the crumbs
You’re only catching the remnants
For the big cake is safe waiting for the opportunity to become the centre piece of the show

I’ve just given you an appetizer, a mere morsel, a sample
You’re only going to get a piece of the big kahoona, the gargantuan tuna in the near future
If you join my journey, I’ll let you blow out the candle
Bask in a poetry scandal
When the world becomes my oyster

You’re only enjoying a small part
Like peeping through a key hole
I’ll open that door
You won’t need a ticket
You’re my V.I.P. guest
