I can't change the world.
We can't change the world.
Nobody can change the world.
Our gods have left us with the hate we have created.
The racism we have admitted.
By being judged by race, religion, and political views.
We have created wars, where murder is committed.
Were alone with the tragedies we have created.
We will never agree to have peace in this world.
We are contradictions.
Our Governments have feed us lies.
They don't protect us, they kill us.
Kill Racism.
Kill Religion.
Kill the Governments.
We are nobodies.

A very interesting position on the world you have here. I am completely against racism and corruption in politics. However, when it comes to religion sometimes that term is taken out of context. I am a believer in Jesus Christ but I follow a faith. A religion, on the other hand, is the set of practices based around the faith. Again you have written a very intriguing poem,

I found your poem thought provoking, precisely what I aim for when writing. It is not necessarily what is said, but what the content suggests to the reader. It is something to get the reader thinking.
The omission of rhyme, really sets the information as cold hard facts which I think works very effectively here.
I completely agree with you. Race, Religion and Politic indifference are the true root of all conflict.
And, in a way, we are nobodies, but if unite maybe, just maybe, we might be able to do something.
The structure was also well laid out, a nice non-linear form.
Sometimes our best poems are written when we aim not to write a legitimate poem at all.
Great piece of writing. |
