She took my heart, and broke it right in two,
Leaving me not knowing what to do.
The pain inside, left me broken,
Some people harm with words unspoken.
Yet to this day, my soul does mend,
My heart still aches, but will it end?
This sunken feeling does not cease,
And when will life grant me peace?
These questions asked straight from the heart,
A broken past with no fresh start.
At night I sit alone and start to think,
Of what went wrong as I hold this drink.
I try to drown my sorrows in these bottles of poison,
Hoping one day I may be forgiven.
I still don’t know what I’ve done wrong,
But in her arms, I feel that is were I belong.
Until the day shall come again,
Were I’m hers and she’s mine, will my heart be whole again.
But till that day comes along,
I shall poison my self were I feel like I belong.
I place filled with broken heart men,
All looking for their love to come back to them.

This is such a sad read.
Nice rhyme, superb, packed with emotion. I definitely know where you're coming from. Thank you for this, have read it many times.

Dear respected Darkwolf,
After two lines giving space
Will give beauty to your poem
Its appearance will be cute
All will love to read the lines
Your poem has rhyme and rhythm
And also colossal meaning dear
I am fascinated by its fine structure
Please give space after two lines.
With best wishes, Thanking you, Yours truly,
