nightmare

Sh, hold your breath cause it's not over yet,
You can run and you can hide,
But don't you dare close your eyes.
Cause in the dark the danger lys.
You can find him look around.
Open your ears to the slightest sound.
That he might make as he runs your way.
But remember a knife through the heart is the only way.
So aim your knife and hope to death you get him right through the chest
Cause if not your dead, can look him in the eyes as he eats your head
So pray to God you make it through,
Through this nightmare you believe to be true.

The imagery you convey here is dark and fitting to the poem as a whole. I like how you did this.
