anguished

I want to give up
To allow myself sweet surrender
To be the casualty of my own war
A war against loneliness
But involuntarily I continue on
I keep searching, hoping
Why can’t I GIVE UP
My efforts have never been fruitful
Except for you.
But you don’t want me
Don’t like me
Neither did he
I am who I am because of what you are
I was made this way by the yearning inside
It has manifested into a beast that I know not how to tame
Tame me
I surrender to your call
Love me
That one simple thing LOVE
Has escaped my grasp
I crave the love of someone like you
A beautiful GOD Adonnis
But maybe you are not so perfect
Maybe my wanting had made you into what you are not
MINE
You belong to HER
You will NEVER belong to me
You will NEVER love me
And as much as it hurts
It’s the truth
I’ll NEVER find love as you will with her
