The days we played, giggled and smiled I never once thought you were mine for just a little while.
That night we slept , in the morning I felt the pain
For when I tried to wake you , you weren’t the same,
The air you were to breathe you didn’t remember
Your body laid still as mine started to tremble
The call the flashing lights the pain when they took you from my sight,
Hidden in their shade I took out a blade
The thoughts the screams the little red streams,
The fight within me were lost with my screams,
The room so cold , with the little sliver table
Is where they finally told me they weren’t able to save you
The pain the hurt the fear the tears, yet there still is so many after all of these years
Now all I have left of you are pictures and an urn
Forever will I pray for your return
