its the mersey its still
he and her climb the hill
runcorn bridge is bright
hes gonna hold her all night
its quiet and lit in star
blazing horn from a passing car
he lays her down
would his mother frown?
smile in his eyes
will this cut his ties?
boy he wants her
awkward duh?
she wants the young man
golden hair silken tan
night rolls curtain down
theres darkness in the town
she slurs and mutters
he questions stutters
locked and shutters
has he heard wrong?
is that music
is that a song?
she grasps
and her breath
theres a pause
lips clasp
loving in death
murder on the moors

interesting twist at the end. I like the style your write in. It's like I am seeing small clips of the whole with every line. |
