My mom
The vacuum was filled to optimum
the moment I saw you….
My heart was lonely n searched for you
every where …. High n low
You are so tiny yet,
your place, is of highest order in my life.
The moment you snuggled in my arms
i knew its you ………
You had brought me into this world
But then, you had left me in the lurch,
My heart was crushed but..
I was dead sure you would be back
to pamper n shower me with all your love …
And now that you are back
My heart is full of joy….
The vacuum in my heart is
filled with your divine n pure presence.

'My Mother' is a universal poem; there is no one like Mother. Father runs a close second -- if he's lucky, but Mother is the One. Your poem speaks eloquently on this matter -- mater prevails. No matter her actual presence, she is always there for you -- somehow. Very even writing. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks.
