With a knife to my wrist and a bullet through my head my only thought was why aren't I dead.
With a tear in my eye and gun on the floor I thought I wanted my life to be no more.
But as I looked up into your eyes you were dead but still you said
“baby be strong and save yourself don't hurt don't kill yourself"
Your eye lids shut and I closed my eyes I tried to repeat your words in my head but how could I? When you lay there dead? I didn't want to hear what you said.. Cause I also wanted to be dead...
To be with you now was my dream, for without you, well what's life mean?
So I took the gun and with another shot. Thus bullet to my heart still didn't make it stop. No blood was shed as if I was unable to bleed
I cried as I waited for my death to arrive but it never came. I don't want to play this game.
I screamed so loud I could feel it shake the ground. Take me I yelled...
I decided the knife was my way out a few stabs would surly stop this heart.
The first went in and still no pain and what can you gain with no pain..
Still no hurt and still no death. A dream I though, could that be it?
Just trapped in a dream with no way out so here I sit..
I'll wake up I know I will... You will be by my side like you said you will.
But I wait and no wake I find.. Your dead here and I still can't find, my way to die my way to life for now I'm trapped here starring at your pale white face.
I'll cut it out. Dead or alive you will have my heart.
So cut my heart out I did and set it in your hand. Now nothing can tear us apart.
I'll close my eyes and drift away. Soon to be in your arms for a dream this is not.
My heart could just simply not beat without you. So my heart is what you got.
