Ah, but if not for those eyes,
Those eyes that tease me every night-
I might have given in to my fear.
And that smile, that luscious smile-
If not for that smile your eyes would lack the
fire they contain.
Your arms have comforted me in many
dreams.
Keeping me close to you, you would whisper
away my tears.
Alas, this is not a dream-
I finally stare you in the eyes.
Your expectant smile, paves the way for these
words left unsaid.
These words I have lived-
For eons.
I take in a deep breath, and taste the bouquet
of your perfume.
The aroma pushes me on to the destination
I've been striving for.
The beginning is in sight.
I speak the words that embody my desire.
-I love you.
