I Love You With All My Heart

I never wanted us to part,
I couldn’t stand to break your heart.
But yet I broke it anyway,
I tossed your lovely heart away.

Our eyes meet sometimes,
And they remind me of good times.
I wish I could hold you still,
But I know my wish just won’t come true.

I love the way you smile,
when our eyes meet.
It gives me hope that someday,
history might just repeat.

I wish for a sign,
That you might still love me.
But I must face the fact,
That we are not the perfect match.

I wish that I could have seen,
What I did to you and me.
But now it is too late
And your heart is filled with hate.

I wish that we were not apart,
For I love you with all my heart.
