enough

enough

I didn’t know him, but I know his brother.
He tried before but this time he did it. It took longer than he planned but the result was the same.

What is it that changes, that makes the end the better option.
I have looked into the abyss, felt dispar and thought that maybe I’d had enough.
But it is not just me, it is all around me.
The ones whom I don’t think about enough and the ones I think about all the time that would suffer, not me.
It is terrifying the moment you realise you are capable of that consideration.
The rope that holds you suddenly seems thin and frayed, you know now that it can snap and that is chilling.

Don’t let it fool you, talk to them, talk to someone, talk to me.
It’s not real and the end wont make it go away. You will just give it to them and you don’t want to do that.
They all want to help if you will only let them, let them in, let them see and you will see that it is not your fault and it will be better.

He is gone now and my thoughts are with his family and friends.
Look out for each other and for yourselves.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
