If for every mirror broken
you get seven years bad luck
I wonder how long you get
for every heart that is shattered
If for every bell that rings
an angel gets its wings
then for every cry you hear
a demon gets its horns
and if for every lightning bolt
God just bowled a strike
then every time the earth quakes
i wonder if Satan got a spare..
if for every ant you kill
another rain drop falls
then it must have stormed in heaven
10 years ago today, remember nine eleven..
(truthfully its still storming in heaven thanks to that terrifying day, for everyone who lost their lives defending the freedom we rely on today.)

A great poem -- took my breath away. Who will ever forget that devastating day? You gave it a fitting memorial. Thank you. --FlintHunter |

nice poem
I am not comparing your poetry to this but I think you
will like this Look up winston churchil's famous speech on youtube.
"we will never surrender"
I think you would enjoy that speech and find it inspirational. |
