I was babbling.
Because I was nervous.
Because you were there.
Looking at me that way that you do,
Smiling at me with your crooked smile,
With your gapped teeth that I love.
My eyes looking everywhere but in yours,
Because I knew that if I were to look into those deep brown eyes,
I would be gone.
And be completely lost in you.
So I babbled on like a fool.
And you laughed and pulled me in,
And kissed me.
And even though I hate to be interrupted,
This time I didn't mind.
