i seen angels,
i met the gods.
i fought the devil,
and i won.
but i wait for my knight.
his armor...tarnished as he waited.
his humor...wilted
his smile...gone
out fighting for what i already had
not to keep it but to achieve it.
tears, salty rain from my broken heart,
burn the cuts in the tanned flesh.
blood.
flows.
slowly.
its strange
...how one can look at blood...
and not notice how much it means.
it can be life
or death.
but you watch it flow
feel the burn of your tears
pink...so innocent...
thats the tears in my heart.

I fully understand this poem: it is not vague at all. I think it's very expressive of the sad emotions you feel, and I hope God will help you turn things around. In the meantime -- can you just write a lot of poetry -- just let your pain and pen flow -- as water from a lake -- as your clear feelings -- as clean fresh water in a serene and unpolluted river (if there is one) -- and let that new water refresh you... and not keep hurting your poor self. you don't deserve it. express your anger, dear, where it belongs -- if not directly to them -- then write it. You can write great poetry. All you have to do is NOT try. --flint |
