I do not remember a time when I wasn’t broken,
But I saw you crying and put down my sword.
Words are like razors but they run through you,
Like water you sweep the sure signs of my mind.
Fearlessly I shall fight for you until I die,
Your eyes keep me strong and reinforced.
Mentally we are strong and physically we are one,
My thoughts have been focused on keeping steady.
I turn and see the compassion embodied in you,
As I fall to my knees I realize you have slain me.
My body was not why I was weak or why you cared,
My sword attracted you and the power it wielded.
