Out of All

Accumulative worries and thoughts flooding my mind
Such tension is the consequence of my choices being blind
Filled with sorrow am I and yet I am running toward some light
Or perhaps tis merely a figment of my distorted imagination
Why you out of all fell for me I shall never know
You are not completely malign yet not angelic
Almost fallen you are and must be caught
I tried to keep you from slipping through the cracks
Yet my intentions were drowned out by emotions and lust
Tell me why would you out of all let me make those mistakes
Now we are at a crossroads hesitantly trying to communicate
Secretly yearning for each other's affection denyingly
Trying not to fall again is my intention. What is yours?
Would you out of all change for the better? For me?

Another beautiful -- and sad -- poem. Sounds like the real thing -- LOVE -- to me... I wouldn't ever suggest -- I know better... Still did I not hear something in those verses? Well what do I know -- I'm only a man (and 60 years old at that). You express your passionate turmoil in an exquisite --and delicate -- way -- helps, I hope, to ease the pain... YOUTH!--FlintHunter |
