The slightest mistake in the right lane can boil your blood
You're more concerned with losing power than people
Innocent people dying in the aftermath of a flood
Why am I still here dare I ask at this rendezvous
If merely everything bothers you
A few immature jests set my anger aflame
And then you point it out accentuating my shame
Why can't we have a better connection
I mean I want to be a better friend and a closer lover
Can this still happen in spite of all that bothers you?
I'm like an old doll left in the corner on a shelf
You know the one you'll never bond with it again
Surely you'll pay me a visit and dust me off
But it doesn't improve us and most importantly
Everything that bothers you!

Ah yes. It's hard to live with people who consistently have multiple things to fume about. Some people mellow out as they age, others get worse. Then they wonder why other people fade away.
Your take on this most excellently written!
