My Only Dream Is He

Contributed by olisra on Monday, 5th September 2011 @ 10:17:01 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Gone are those days
Full of light and ray
Standing in the shadow of darkness
It’s the only memory to Relish….

In my happy prime
He brought with him the first ray of hope
He was my personal sun
Who brought glory and charm
He was indeed my sole Inspiration.

I still remember how
I waited for him night and day
How his presence made my dreams
More than a mere Temptation.

But the day he left
He gave me something more
Than what he gave me always
He endowed me with realizations of life
To accompany me in the life After.

Thus the man who stole my heart
Remained a Mystery
In the darkness of night
My only dream is he.

I am touched by your lovely work of poetry. Falling in love is both divine and traumatizing if it is taken away. Nevertheless I find it to be an experience worth the consequences. God bless you and take care,
Deidra
