I saw inside your soul
I felt the pain under your skin
I fought for you until I bled
What are we doing?
You lose me every time you say his name...
I stop hearing your words when I open my eyes to see what you're hiding
I don't trust you when you have that look in your eye
I'm holding up my sword, bring on this fight
What am I fighting for?
Why am I fighting for you?
You need me and it's killing me
But I need you, too
This couldn't be love that we're standing here for
We're on different levels, I bow to you
You're strong but insecure
I'm just lost
I am unbelievably happy in my misery
A sick soul, you could say
Or just a twisted fate
Why am I falling for someone like you?
Why are you falling for someone like me?
Hey, everyone thinks we're perfect for one another
But no one knows the pieces on our chess board
It's really a terrible game we're stuck in
But we both love it, I don't know why
All relationships have their problems
Ours have been getting better, though
We screwed up in the start
I couldn't tell you if this is healthy
But it feeds my soul
And this is the happiest that I have ever been
And this is the happiest that you've ever been

| this is very sweet i can relate to this kind of relationship in the past and even now i have found out that sometimes you fall in love with the wrong people and nothing can be done ! Beautiful write Love it ! |
