I lost myself again.
With you part of me walked away.
I lost my best friend today.
Can you show me where he might be?

It all started this morning you see.
A Sunday just like any other.
But when he walked out the door with his smile.
My mind conspired a way to be just like him.

How I regret those words I said.
I wish I could take them back in the end.
I never meant to hurt my friend you see.
I just wanted to know why he was treated so much higher than me.

I lost my friend that way you see.
Do you know where he might be found?
I've tried calling him several times.
But only a message on my bed he left.

In that letter he spoke of his departure.
How it hurt me to hear his goodbye.
If only I could hear his words one more time.
Can you please tell me where I can find my friend?

I promise I'll treat him well now.
I'll be the greatest friend he will ever see.
Just tell me where I can find my friend please.
His pressence can put my heart at ease.

I lost my best friend today you see.
He was the only one who truly undertood me.
So here I am lost without my friend.
I beg you to tell me if he is found.
