Adverts Suck!
To say I love T.V. would be a lie
But I hate with a passion adverts
I adore my T.V. shows, they rock!
But adverts absolutely suck!
Apart from film and music ones
They inform me of the future good things I can look forward to go to or buy
The adverts are getting on my wick
Repetitive and frequent, they make me sick!
Programmes say they are on for an hour
Infact they only run for forty minutes or less, fact
With the remaining time filled to the brim with adverts
Why can’t you give me what I want?
These commercial channels, I hate you!
The only thing a brake is good for is to go to the toilet or make a cuppa
But no one has ten cuppas in an hour!
Sort this stuff out, T.V. company fools!

i don't watch tv because of commercials... i hate inturruptions.
It's like giving me a meal... but then dividing it up into 10 parts and trying to sell me different types of food inbetween each bite.

Know exactly what u mean. It's a big joke or seems that way. Another thing aggravates me is we pay for satellite and at night they put these advertisements on there saying. Paid program. Well i pay for it once a month.

RE: ADVERTS SUCK! -- that they do. But. Your poem is terrific.
Since we're stuck with the adverts for now, can we say there are two things that are good about them: 1) without them you'd not have written this poem, and 2) without them, I wouldn't have enjoyed reading it...
