A Funeral for my Soul

It is pitch black in the sun light,
And bright as day at night,
On a road I may never see,
Is a life lived so happily,
As the image some are shown,
Isn’t always as they known,
A face wearing a frown,
Shows the words of a silent breakdown,
And as these thoughts circle in my mind,
I wonder what I may find,
As I travel down this hole,
To a funeral for my soul.

Great artistic channeling this piece is like a fine glass of wine I felt every ion of your sentiment, as this was so cleverly depicted short, sweet, with enough impact to inspire a choir of muses to create truly well done

This is a hard subject to write about and a hard poem to read -- yet it must be written and it must be read. Too many people 'travel doen this hole' -- and I think that many of them need not; but they don't see that. They see themselves as worthless -- when really they are worth everything. But how can you wake a person up? I don't know -- and I've been in the hole too. All I can say is that God will help you out -- but you must reach out your hand so He can take it... a very good poem -- see -- even out of deep pain, sometimes something beautiful may arise... and it did.
