Pocket full of nothing

I put pennies into my quarters only machine,
Im lost and don't mind,
Life carries me,
Comical faces disgrace my serious places,
Its not pain i feel but pity,
A deep pity for the serious,
I hang free from my rusted rings,
Tan lines on my wrists.
