The moon sweeps on by
both above, and below
all the problems you know
are a drop in the ocean of dreams
nothing causes alarm to the cycle
though our lives may be trifled
and seem like they'll splits at the seams
just look up, and you'll see
that it's pull on the sea
makes it truly mighty,
yet it is silent and serene
unlike our broken dreams
that remind us of our own great folly
now bring me a brolly
and I will walk on through the rain
though it may be a strain
it will go down the drain
like everything else that you know
tends to move on, or grow
under sunlight, until life
is done,
a baton is passed on
