Once upon a time in a valley so dark,
there lived two star-crossed lovers who were worlds apart.
The lad, noble, gentle and sweet;
and the lass beautiful and regal, with a heart full of peace.
From these two, a passion soon ignited,
While at the time, their country stood divided.
It was up to them to lend a hand,
and do their best to save the land.
But troubles soon erupted
as their love was all but corrupted.
Corrupted by a force called doubt
a force in which they sought to be without.
How foolish these two, whose lives have meshed
Dont they know they had the best?
Their passion pure, and innocent their love
How foolish it was to look for more from above
These two arent that different from you and me
How often we fantasize ourselves to break free
Free from the stress, burdens, pain and the lies
Free to laugh and free to cry
But deep in our minds we all must know
That pain isnt a hindrance..it just leaves room to grow.
