Looking through black and white antique stethoscope I check life’s pulse,
Pounding pulsating pouring....
All can be heard with the right ears,
Beethoven and myself have the same problem,
Notes jump off life’s page,
They float around me with silent smiles,
I smile back, like a person whose laughter is their only joke.

'Smile' is an intriguing poem. I'm not sure if it's about. If it is -- then -- I am as always -- not able to see so deeply...
Really enjoyed reading it twice and I love how Beethoven is -- without warning. The notes jump off This, that's certain. I'm blinking too. Thanks for your life-ful words.
