Angel of Migraines

Contributed by spike on Sunday, 21st August 2011 @ 09:48:23 AM in AEST
Topic: hbadday

don't knock on the door
please go away
the Angel of Migraines
is visiting today

proclaimed by nausea
and auras of light
the Harbinger of Headaches
is here for the night

close all the blinds
retreat to your bed
position the bucket
and cover your head

pray for some respite
in the new day
when the Mother of Misery
might go away.

I used to have a house mate who had the same problem. At least that's what he said but I swear he was just having a day of "knocking one out" so to speak

Another masterpiece. Not going to read any more of your poems today -- they're too good. I mean it -- Too. Damned. Good
