Business As Usual.

In yellowing fields of ripening summer
Heather is bursting purple hearts
And the music of the wild is carried far and wide
On the steady beat of the Red Kite's wings.
In towering cathedrals of high mountain tops
The sun is scouring the landscape,
From the sheep strung valley
To far flung outposts of stony empires.
In far off fields a combine rolls relentlessly on,
Leaving a stubbly scar on the face of the earth.
The trees gather at the fields edge
And the crows tip toe across the day,
Deliberately, delicately, going about their usual business.
