panic attack

Contributed by rebdlit on Monday, 15th August 2011 @ 08:03:59 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I'm in my head
crazy as that seems
I'm seeing my present
as if its a dream.
Im going crazy
im going to lose my mind
my family is going to leave me
peace of mind i have to find
just a piece is all i need
to plant the seed
a piece of the peace is all i want
my panic demon
taunt taunt taunt
i go for a walk trying to ground my soul
a piece of the peace
what is the toll?
I will practice yoga and take medication
ill do heavy breathing and learn meditation
just give me a taste of peace
and stable thoughts of gold
ill balance my chakras
and do as im told
i need this piece of peace that others have
i need my mind to be free for a moment
from worry that worry will consume my soul
a piece of the peace is all i lack
i need this lord to get my confidence back

I know you'll find your way through this. It is a matter of time. But while seeking help from others is a very good idea, it will always be you who saves yourself. In this poem you reach only outward because you aren't confident within, but it will pass, one step at a time, when you are ready.

You must be true to yourself, rather than bear the expectations of the world on your shoulders.
