Frozen Hopes

I stand frozen on the horizon
In my dreams along the fairway,
The grass here has so much color,
Where youths memories decay.
Desiring to be the incumbent
Of my own insanity,
Crossing the bridge of wonder,
Below the turbulent river wakes,
self-inflicted drowning of inhumanity.
Beyond the pristine mountains,
Finger tips reach for the skies.
In the distance bells ring of surreal,
Stepping forward, but back again
tears streaming from strained eyes.
Ambition never satisfied
The dawn creeps and is near
My hunger is deep, my death is sleep
Forever and ever endless,
Hopes and dreams trapped
By this celestial sphere
The end goes on forever
