Oblivious Love

Contributed by ManInTheMask on Wednesday, 10th August 2011 @ 12:17:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Oblivious to what is going on,
How could I be so very wrong?
Thinking love had hidden from me,
When in fact it’s smiling with glee.
Sneaking into my life once more,
In such a way I totally adore.
Who’d of thought she’d do this to me,
Melting my heart and setting it free.
Deepest eyes a luscious blue,
Sweetest smile honest and true.
This lady I can’t get out of my head,
The thought of losing her feels me with dread.
But there is no need to worry in fear,
Since I know love is definitely here.
Losing control not letting go,
She’s there for me I really know.
I just hope I look back on this,
Remembering that first true kiss.
I think to myself why worry away,
When in fact we are together this day.
My angel, my darling the joy you bring,
Making my heart truly sing.
Love is crazy with how things become,
But I truly feel you are the one.

As emy said, cute tender, really love the poem.
The way you've written it is just how I love poems written x
