Those little white pills so easy to swallow,
in my own self pity I wallow.
Handful after handful,
passing in and out,
trying to take myself away,
to a place that holds no doubt.
The demons inside me find their way down,
leaning over that white bowl,
realizing it's time to leave this town.
Time to leave this state,
this country,
this world.
Never to be seen again,
my thoughts becoming unfurled.
Sent away,
to a 'better place'.
No one can help me,
until the memories are erased.

Dear poet,
Socrates said at the time of his end as follows:
"You to live, I to die, who knows which is better"
When you can write so superbly
Are those little pills really needed?
If it is just a poem to the World
Then really no problem at all
But, if it is indeed a reality
Better to throw away those pills.

We presume to know a lot about each other by apperance
it's why agencies profile
but I'm always thrown, by how flawless
and seemingly effortlessly you write
needless to say this was no exception
truly a gifted piece of work

So sad but great writing.
I too hope it's just great writing, if not good luck.
I know some people that would do just about do any thing to get them. Like I said so sad.
