Math is a painful, stiff exercise
Built on a series of theories and lies.
The mess of black scribbles could make anyone blind
It sucks up your soul and screws with your mind.
In math, imagination no longer applies
Soon, it will lead to our world’s demise.
The obscure little symbols will swim ‘round your brain
While tears of frustration stain notebooks like rain.
Greek letters join hands with numbers and signs
And dance on my page in orderly lines.
The bell rings and saves me from my dull reverie
I gather my books up and rapidly flee.

haha i'm good at math, but I also find it horribly boring. I mean... all you ever do is memorize formulas and then apply them. How boring is that?

Made me smile thinking back to all those maths lessons I had as a kid.
I can remember my mind wandering on hot summer days, thinking I'd rather be outside than listening to all this dull stuff.
You took me right back lol!!.
Not sure I should thank you for the memory but never mind lol.

I recently took an algebra class at the university, six times! I feel your pain! Very good write though, makes a lot of sense how you put your words together. Keep up the good work!
