Beyond pitch darkness
I may not look with my eyes
but I do see through my heart
I am not different; I am just a bit apart.
Never seen the sunshine nor moonlight,
but I aspire to inspire
to feel light beyond pitch dark,
I will, out perform beyond
your fathomless capacity.
I do not need your sympathy,
just a bit of empathy,
that would help to light my way .

| I assume with the title and theme you were going for something dark and melancholic, if that's the case you failed. If you went for something optimistic and inspirational you succeeded. |
