Could've known there's no excuse for our desperate act.
Didn't see it coming that you'd leave without any tact.
Whoever said that mistakes will make us wise,
probably never made the same mistake twice.

Will there be redemption when there's no one up above?
Less than impressive how you're trying to back off.

Truthful stories make the kind of honest tales,
everyone likes to read yet no one likes to tell.
They who know them are drinking them away,
they'll just follow the path so that they can stray.

Let's try to forget about our love and our hate.
I need something better than your weak escape.
