3 a.m.
I am awake
In my heart I see
Walking alone across the moonlight
The stars/ the hidden pastures of her skin
Burst open
Rearranged, choreographed
Lilting just above
Fresh cut grass
Still, descending; still again
Then rising, fluttering
Toward the tree line/ toward the streetlights
Until dissipated
Until gone.

Congratulations you have successfully posted a creative and interesting write! The extended metaphor I must say Is very effective and enjoyable to read about; the hidden pastures of her skin- now that is creative. Take care and God bless,
Deidra |

The longing I feel while reading this...ahhh.
'hidden pastures of her skin
Burst open
Rearranged, choreographed
Lilting just above
Fresh cut grass
Still, descending; still again
Then rising, fluttering
Toward the tree line/ toward the streetlights
Until dissipated
Until gone.'
Thanks for sharing.
