Topic: oops

My heart is pounding
Alone I lay to rest in this place
I close my eyes and gaze
Upon that perfect face
Darling, close those blue eyes
Before they steal my breath away
In my dreams its you and I
Together forever with your hand in mine
We take long walks along the beach
Gently kissed by the breeze
Beneath the waves we find our home
For all eternity
If my dreams could last forever
I would sew my eyes shut
The love I used to see in your eyes
Kept me warm through the coldest of nights
But now the blistering reality keeps me awake
Knowing that I could not change our fate
Now you exist only to haunt my dreams
If I could hold on to them forever
I would sleep for all eternity
I can't hold you again, no not tonight
But your icy cold breath on the back of my neck
Keeps me awake until I join you in death
Darling, you were my everything
Without you I don't want to exist
So I'll keep dreaming
Dreaming of our last kiss
