Jumping the curb at 60 mph,
He plummetted to the abyss
That was the night below.
Alone and cold,
Lying on the grass wet with the morning dew,
He stared at the passing headlights above
and thought how much he loved the stars.
How he would miss the stars,
But it was worth it
To meet the fierce silence of death
Alone and cold,
He died
And the stars wept.

My brothe was killed by a drunk driver, dying is never worth it. The poem is cool though. |
