The cold and calm way
it goes about it poisoning
Day to everyday.
A million people and more
It’s strangling with it’s pulse
Like the weed suffocating the flower
Some sort of possessive curse.
A fear dreaded by many
Though something we cannot stop
Affects loved all over the world
Taking medics as a mock.
I’ve lost many and many more
To your deathly claws you sink in
Full of toxic liquid
Spreading like a sin.
There saviour trying to be there
Comes in chemo or radiotherapy
They lose their mind, hair
Some of their saddened sanity.
Your warm corrupted glow
Deaths malicious answer
Comes in the polluted name
Of the one and only, Cancer.
