~You Claim to know me~

Contributed by shelby on Monday, 20th June 2011 @ 02:33:56 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Tides of the years
hve flown by like a dream.
Sometimes with relationships
we dont clearly see.
Reality
Our own or others.

We are all human
with faults all our own.
We all have our habits
our feelings not shown.
Out of the blue
the hateful words tend to fly
they cannot be taken back
time passes by.
Reality.

The things that are all a part of me
turned all to negative
by you, your own judge and jury
making your own reality as you go
NO! Not how it should be
Reality

Truth at its best
and worst it is.
It all comes out
in a tiny hissy fit
.
Reality.

Then comes the time
you sit with yourself
reflect on life
take the old box down from the shelf.
Reality

You pick through each piece
of the person you are
digging real deep
sitting by candle light
alone in the dark.
Reality

You soon come to realize

by the light of the dawn
you are not a bad person
just the same as before.
With faults all your own
and bad habits too
but it doesn't change the fact
deep down you know you are good.
Reality.

Then as the webs
in the sunlight disperse
you hear a small voice
whispering softly in the woods
(Move on)
You dont really know me after all...........
Reality
