if there was something i thought i could have done,
i would have done it.
if there was something i thought i could have said,
i would have said it.
if there was anything that could have made things better,
i would have tried it.
if i knew things would get this bad,
i wouldn't have said a word.
there's nothing left for me to do,
our problems are beyond solving.
between something i said, and something you repeated,
everything fell apart.
everything between us that could have been fixed,
was turned to dust; destroyed.
everything between us that could have been said,
went unspoken; silence.
nothing is left to be said,
the only thing is goodbye.
nothing left for mending,
my tears have run dry.

Don't have to think it's all over, because whenever there's an end there's a new beginning...
I enjoyed reading your poem, i can really relate to it.
take care
