I stare out into the vast open seas
And I wonder if you ever think about me
Lost myself in a horizon over the big blue
Because every sunset reminds me of holding you
This evening wind sends chills down my spine
Reminding me of a time when your hand completed mine
I watch the sand gently dance in the breeze
My craving for your kiss brings me to my knees
Tonight the sunset is fading away fast
And I would give up anything to just make this moment last
The stars are like glitter in the night sky
But they don't compare to the beauty of your eyes
I'm so scared to let go of your memory
Will you still haunt me or fade into history
If I could just have one more chance
I would love to hold you through one last dance

| Reminding me of a time when your hand completed mine......now that is a perfect line of poetry,can feel the awful sadness this was written with so as a writer you have done your job well |
