Beautiful Downtown Burbank
Sock it to me, sock it to me!
One ringee-dingee, two ringee-dingees,
Is that another chicken joke?
Big Al here!
Oh, how I love that tinkle!
Fred and Fanny Farkle, Ferd Burfle
The Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award
Bet your sweet bippy!
Tiptoe through the tulips
There’s nothing wrong with your television set.
Do not attempt to adjust the picture.
You are carbon cycle, we are nitrogen cycle
We are forbidden to contact your planet
You are a danger to other planets in galaxy.
KXKVI The Voice of Los Feliz
The Deuces and the Treys singing “Rock Me Daddy”
Keep channel, danger, do not increase power levels
Evolution of man, man of the future
The Sixth Finger
When man is drained of his creative evergy
He procreates but does not create
The whole town must be utterly destroyed
An example must be made.
Zantis allowed to land in landing area
Safe for you to land
Lobo tranzeenee zan nan off
Do not betray us
Total destruction to anyone who invades our privacy
Prison, something strange going on
Baseball game, saints preserve us
He sprung himself over the prison wall
That foul prince, clown of crime
The Bat Phone
Ha-ha, My Boy Blunder and Fatman!
Batman must have bats in his belfry!
A clue, Caped Cumerton
Taurus the Bull is next on my show
And you’ll be singing a song of woe!
Wham! Bam! Ouch! Clunk!
Golly gee, Batman, thanks for the help!
Anytime, old chum.
Come, my fine feathered finks
You Masked Muttonhead!
It’s the Masked Marauders!
Boy Birdbrain
We’ll pluck your feathers.
Get out of here, Dynamic Dunderheads are after us!
The lights are dimmed.
TV off.
Slumberland.

reminds me of the boredom of childhood when you try to find fun in analogue radio dial twiddling , except without the white noise in between. Don't get me wrong. I like this. The freedom you allow yourself is extraordinary. Even if I'm not aware of the well known characters you describe, for some reason I can picture them. |
