As Long as I'm Dreaming

Living a nightmare monsters at every turn,
Death watching around all corners,
Losing everything in which we yearn,
Hundreds of graves with zero mourners,

Is this the end,
There is no light,
Can this we mend,
Is there happiness in sight,

Can we undo it all,
Just by taking a pill,
Forget this horrible fall,
And start to heal,

If this is the end,
Then I will set and wait,
Dream and pretend,
Because as long as I’m dreaming life is what I make it.
